Emaar on board for the UIM XCAT World Series

The new deal, which was celebrated in spectacular fashion today at Emaar’s flagship mega-development Downtown Dubai, billed as ‘The Centre of Now,’ anchored by Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building – sees Emaar coming on board as Main Sponsor of the Series for an initial three years. “It is a great pleasure to welcome Emaar into the XCAT family,” said WPPA Vice President Dr Khalid Al Zahed. “Theirs is a name that is synonymous with excellence and impressive achievement, not only in the UAE but globally. Action in the 2013 UIM XCAT World Series is set to resume at the end of August, with several international races planned, before racing returns to the UAE in December. Dubai-based Fazza still leads the series standings with 830 points from the three heats so far, with Mouawad 50 second on 671 and Gabon 33 third on 525.
