WPPA President awarded honorary doctorate

President of the WPPA HE Saif Al Ketbi has been awarded an honorary doctorate by a top Swiss University. Al Ketbi, who also fulfils the role of Director General of the Office of the Crown Prince of Dubai was awarded the doctorate in Financial Management and Management of Governmental Organisation by the University of Human Sciences and Technology of Lugano. According to Gulf News, President of the University, Manuela Di Martino said this honorary doctorate was awarded to Al Ketbi in recognition of his distinguished efforts in governmental affairs. Al Ketbi, meanwhile, dedicated the honour to President of the UAE, HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for their unwavering support of education and development of the UAE. Secretary General of the WPPA, Sid Bensalah, congratulated Al Ketbi on the prestigious recognition saying: “It is an honour to have a president of this calibre heading up the WPPA and with him at the helm, our organisation can only go from strength to strength.”
