XDubai claim back-to-back DDF Speed Cat wins

XDubai continued their fantastic run of form at the second round of the UIM XCAT World Series in Dubai this afternoon. Having taken top spot in the race for Pole Position this morning, the pair of Arif Al Zaffain and Nadir bin Hendi went on to knock out all their rivals on their way to also claiming Dubai Duty Free Speed Cat Run honours. The duo first got the better of Mouawad (Gary Ballough and Joakim Kumlin) before taking on Air Team (Gian Maria Gabbiani and Francesco Calo’) in the second round. After dispatching of the Italian team, X Dubai went on to defeat Yachts (Francois Pinelli and Saul Bubacco) before meeting Dubai (Salem Al Adidi and Eisa Al Ali) in an all-Victory Team final. The XDubai team (formerly known as Fazza) had no trouble overcoming their teammates, however, to record back-to-back Speed Cat Run victories – having also won in Fujairah last month.

Families involved in the Emirates Down Syndrome Association (EDSA) were invited to take part in the podium presentation ceremony this afternoon as part of the celebrations of World Down Syndrome Day.
