The countdown is on for a return to action for the UIM Skydive Dubai XCAT World Series. In exactly a month, teams will be heading east for the sixth round of the Series, which is due to take place at Ningbo Meishan Bay in China from November 8-10.
[..]It is with great sadness that the WPPA learned of the tragic passing away of Italian F2 pilot, Paolo Zantelli after a mid-race collision at the Idroscalo in Milan. Paolo was a great driver whose remarkable career spanned 17 years and who just two weeks ago celebrated another victory at the British leg of the UIM F2 World Championships in Nottingham.
On behalf of the WPPA and the UIM Skydive Dubai XCAT World Series, we would like to convey our deepest condolences to Paolo’s family, friends and colleagues. The sport of powerboating has lost a great man.
