SAFETY & PERFORMANCE SEMINAR

—The purpose of this seminar is to increase the attendee’s knowledge about performance and safety with high speed powerboats and Jet Ski’s. It has been shown that the best performing drivers and crews are also the safest, so the seminar will present a number of ways to enhance performance and safety. A partial list of subjects to be discussed include boat stability and performance, personal safety equipment, structural requirements for the survival space, rescue and race management considerations, mental preparedness, and the five things every racer must pay attention to.

—The presenters, Paul Hicks, Joost Van Nueten and Bob Wartinger, have an extensive amount of safety and performance experience in the powerboat racing domain and will, in addition to presenting in the seminar, be available for onsite inspection of boats in the pit area, and are available for one on one or group discussions of performance and safety subjects throughout the seminar.
